REQUIRED EXPERIENCEESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 3 years working as a pharmacist in a community or institutional/hospital pharmacy
DESIRED EXPERIENCE 3-5 years supervisory or managerial experience in an institutional/hospital pharmacy
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGERisk management processes and proceduresPharmacy and related healthcare industryEthical and surgical product knowledgeRelevant Pharmacy legislation (e.g. Pharmacy Act; Good pharmacy practice; Medicine Control Act 101 of 1965)Medical Aid Scheme benefits; regulations and formulariesClinical pharmacy and antimicrobial stewardshipAll applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given in accordance with the Employment Equity Plan of Mediclinic Southern Africa, as well as internal applicants/employees that meet the minimum requirements.
