Job DescriptionIntroductionAs a personal trainer for Virgin Active, you will have the opportunity to operate your own business, by making use of our facilities and activities on the floor. You will manage your client base and offer personal training programmes to our members.Key Responsibilities of the Job:Designing safe and effective exercise programs for your client baseProviding high levels of customer service to personal training clients and all Virgin Active membersBuilding a sustainable personal training client base by continually adding new clients and retaining existing clientsCompleting and maintaining accurate personal training client records stored in the designated club areasMaintaining appropriate professional boundariesRespond and act in the case of club emergenciesParticipate in all club related activities as requiredHelping create a fun atmosphere within the fitness areasFollow all Personal Training guidelines and standards as set by Virgin ActiveEnsure that all certificates are valid and up to date according to industry standardsMinimum RequirementsMatric qualificationA REPSA recognized Personal Training qualificationExperience within Personal TrainingA valid First Aid, CPR and AED certificationAn outgoing and friendly personality coupled with good communication skillsSelf-motivated to achieve set income targetsSelf-disciplined to build and maintain a client baseEmployment TypeIndependent ContractorIndustryHealth, Wellness & Fitness
