Safari JOBS is searching for a People HR Administrator for a world renowned 5* safari property situated in a prime area of Mpumalanga.
The main role of the People HR Administrator is to be responsible for supporting the People Manager in implementing the people strategy and the effective management of people-related activities.
Report to the People Manager. All roles at the establishment may be required to perform other tasks as reasonably requested from time to time and as required by the business and/or operation. The establishment fosters a culture of collaboration and supports the multi-skilling of staff.
Minimum Requirements:

Clear criminal record and excellent employment track record;
HR Qualification is preferable.
2 – 3 years experience in HR.
A hospitality background is preferable.
Experience in recruitment and onboarding.
Experience in HR-related administration.
Sound knowledge of labour law and disciplinary procedures.
Passionate about staff and the local community's needs.
Personal values include fairness, integrity, the ability to be non-judgmental; and being able to maintain the confidentiality of information.
Empathetic in nature with a real concern and care for others.
Ability to work independently.
Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
Understanding and managing computer systems in particular MS Word and Excel as well as Sage VIP.
Good English communication skills.
Valid working visa.

Responsibilities:

Manage the department responsibilities while the People Manager is away.
Provide support and guidance to members of the management team to better enable them to manage according to the establishment's vision, mission, and values, and in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
Responsible for Core (Jnr) personnel administration & payroll.
Facilitating and encouraging Training and Development of employees.
Assist with Industrial Relations matters.
Data capturing and Reporting.
Facilitating staff welfare and employee health & wellness.
Assist with recruitment and onboarding.
Managing and completing general administration.
Assist with the ordering, coordination and issuing of staff wardrobe items.
Actively contribute to the establishments' sustainability programmes and Wellness projects and initiatives.
Encourage staff commitment and involvement in community development projects.
Ensure all leave is captured and leave reports generated.
Actively manage the Staff Village; including but not limited to, staffing, rosters, disciplinary, ensuring staff village is maintained, ordering, etc.

Compensation and Benefits:

CTC. NEG. DOE & Qualifications: Please advise your minimum salary expectation upon application.

Work cycle: 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off + annual leave of up to a maximum of 24 days.
