time left to apply End Date: January 20, 2025 (25 days left to apply)job requisition id R102737Position:Payroll ManagerJob Description:Overall responsibility and accountability for payroll support services and has the primary goal of running efficient and accurate payroll support hubs.Location:CenturionContract Type:PermanentMinimum Requirements:Experience:AX and D-Bit systems experience and sound knowledge essentialPayroll experience essential with at least 5 years in management roles essentialTES industry payroll experience advantageousEducation:Grade 12 and a tertiary Accounting qualification essentialRoles and Responsibilities:Reduce the incidence of payroll errors, by monitoring error reports, and streamlining processesAddress challenges with regard to timesheet information received from operations and provide recommendations on streamliningProject management activities (data collection, analysis, manipulation, and interpretation), including keeping various stakeholders up to date with key milestonesManage and oversee the coordination of timesheets for respective Distribution CentresBalancing and checking payroll to ensure there are no errorsPrinting reports from the payroll system for checkingEnsure that all journals are posted before the payroll deadlineCompile Monthly payroll reports as and when required for Operations and ManagementCoordinating and organizing all activities in the payroll departmentEnsuring compliance in all areas of payroll (deadlines, commercial and legislative requirements)Ensure Compliance and submission of all costing modules and effecting rate changes, allowance, and deductionsManage all adjustments and reversals as and when requiredManage Invoice process – ensure invoices are received by the relevant Department, and all queries are resolved timeouslyDevelopment and review of detailed Standard Operating ProceduresEngage with relevant stakeholders to drive the reduction of payroll errorsControl all benefit payments, Year-end recon of bonus and leave paymentsOversee bonus process and ensure all reports are checked, ensure bonus paid correctly when requiredEnsure accuracy of rates and minimum wages requirements are adhered toUpdate according to annual increases and Adhoc legislated requirementsEnsure the integrity and accuracy of all formulas contained in the costing templateLiaise with Operations to ensure that all non-standard and client-specific templates are maintained with complianceAdd or remove elements according to the costing SOP once having received the required authorizationSource reporting data for use in business decisions as requiredLeave & Sick leave reporting balancesDistribute the monthly Red Flag payroll accuracy reports and actively engage management on improvement suggestions and initiativesEngage with Management on an ongoing basis to refine and improve current processesDevelop and distribute Dashboards that provide a high-level overview of the nationally optimized payroll's efficiencyIn conjunction with HR Officer ensure payslips are effectively distributedEnsure an updated set of payroll-related SOPs exist and that stakeholders understand their relevanceEnsure adherence to all payroll-related policiesBe the contact person for all internal and external audits as requiredMonitor payroll-related activity and highlight any trends to management that may present future business riskEstablish a positive work environment that results in a committed, motivated, productive business unit and optimal retention of peopleDaily management and coaching of direct reportsEnsure adherence to all HR policies, processes, and SOPsEnsure payroll team performance management, talent development, and succession plan processes are in placeEnsure team members are appropriately trained and developed to fulfil their roles and drive a learning cultureEnsure that the payroll team is adequately skilled to perform their tasks efficiently and coordinate any training requirementsAbout usAt Adcorp, we truly believe in the potential of our employees and are committed to supporting your career journey.
