Payroll And Performance Clerk

RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking an experienced PAYROLL AND PERFORMANCE CLERK for a national concern, position based in the Camperdown area, KwaZulu-Natal. !PERSON SHOULD BE ABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY! JOB DESCRIPTION Grade 12.
Qualification in payroll and/or finance an added advantage.
Valid drivers license / own reliable transport.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).
Working experience on VIP Payroll a strong advantage.
Training will be provided on in-house computer package.
5yrs+ previous working experience with payroll.
This person will be accountable for collecting driver performance information, incorporating a variety of deductions into a periodic payroll, and issuing pay and pay-related information to employees.
Knowledge of the overall operations of a payroll/personnel department, including activities relating to wages, salaries, attendance, employee benefits.
The automated processing of payroll, timekeeping and personnel transactions; and basic mathematical concepts.
Ability to analyse problems and discern discrepancies related to payroll and timekeeping matters; accurately and rapidly perform mathematical calculations by hand and by machine.
Relate tactfully and effectively to others.
Prepare a variety of payroll documents and records.
Person will be required to work every alternative Saturday Sunday mornings. Salary package offered: - To be discussed
