Payroll And Accounts Administrator (Half Day)

The client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll and Accounts Administrator for a half-day position to manage their payroll, accounts, and financial administration for three small connected legal entities.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Pastel accounting software and an excellent understanding of South African Labor Laws and Tax Regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Administration:

Process monthly payroll for 20 employees.
Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, bonuses and deductions.
Manage PAYE, UIF and SDL submissions.
Maintain employee records and update payroll information.
Administer Workmen's Compensation claims when required.
Manage year-end roll over and PAYE reconciliation annually.

Accounts Administration:

Perform daily accounting tasks, including invoicing and reconciliations.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate financial records.
Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting.

General Administration:

Provide financial administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer.
Maintain filing systems (physical and electronic).
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Assist with internal audits.
