Payroll AdministratorCompany in Isando is looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator with solid VIP Premier experience. The ideal candidate has dealt with bargaining councils in the motor or road freight industry.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure that all payroll functions are performed accurately and on time.Communicate effectively and timely with other internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve payroll queries.Liaise with the Payroll Manager on any quality concerns, suggestions, or ideas required.Basic functions and procedures on VIP Payroll software required for the successful completion of a payroll processing period:Accurate capturing of the following payroll input: Loading new employees, Increases, Earnings, Deductions, Company contributions, Perks, Terminations, etc.Capturing of payroll input using batch functionality.Knowledge of content of VIP standard reports.Reconciliation of payroll.ACB Export.General Ledger Export.UIF submission.Administrative duties e.g. filing.General payroll queries.Knowledge required ensuring that the application of the payroll complies with statutory legislation as well as more in-depth functionalities on VIP Payroll software.Definition and application of RFI, SDL, and OID.Completion and submission of the EMP201.Employee benefits administration.Taxability of earnings.Tax-deductibility of deductions.Basic BCEA knowledge.Medical aid fringe benefits.Creating an earning definition.Creating a batch layout.VIP / BIM Report writing.Tax year-end procedures.Position Specifications:Report writer - ODBC / BIMVIP Module knowledge and experienceJob costingCouncil experience (NBCRFLI)Fringe benefitsEmployee Self Service experience (ESS)Cost to Company-payroll experienceDesired Experience & QualificationMatric, with a recognised HR tertiary qualification or relevant Payroll experience.A minimum of 3 – 5 years experience in Payroll Administration.An understanding of all applicable labour legislation (BCEA).Package & RemunerationR 30 000 - R 35 000 CTC
