Parts Inbound Team Leader

The Parts Inbound Team Leader is responsible for leading the Inbound Team to ensure efficient processing of all Haval Parts orders and shipments at the Parts Distribution Centre (PDC). This role is crucial for maintaining optimal stock availability and enhancing customer satisfaction by adhering to set Inbound Service Level times.
Senior Certificate (Grade 12-Matric)Valid driver's licensePreferred Qualification:Degree or Diploma in Business, Lean Warehousing, or Supply Chain Management is advantageous.Knowledge & Experience:Experience in the motor industry or related parts warehouse at an OEM level is preferred.Proven experience in planning, organizing, and scheduling within a warehouse environment.Special Conditions:Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00, with potential variations as required.May require occasional travel depending on operational needs.Strong leadership and motivational skills to drive team performance.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Proficient in computer applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address discrepancies and improve processes.Familiarity with inventory management systems and quality control procedures.Principal Areas of Accountability:Receiving and Processing Inbound Orders:Schedule, prepare, and track all inbound shipments (road, air, sea) to ensure timely processing.Allocate teams and resources effectively to minimize delays and excess storage.Quality Control:Perform checks on all parts received, ensuring reconciliation with orders and invoices.Address any discrepancies, damaged parts, or missing items according to established protocols.Stock Management:Oversee the stocking of parts, ensuring accurate binning and reconciliation with the inventory system.Ensure controlled handovers from drivers and logistics companies, maintaining signed documentation for all inbound shipments.Discrepancy and Query Management:Manage and resolve issues related to parts supply discrepancies and damages during transit.Housekeeping and Team Management:Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the receiving area.Foster a positive working relationship with staff and suppliers, ensuring adherence to policies and standards.Performance Management:Motivate and manage staff to achieve high performance and compliance with operational standards.Please submit your application with your cv to ****** and reference the job title.
