Main Duties & Responsibilities:

To plan Maintenance activities, machine planning and forecast planning for the Parts & Services Division.
Coordinate the right planning of the service processing.
Forecasting and tracking of resources, parts and consumables required for Internal and external jobs for field activities.
Receive customer scope of work and verify that information is complete and expected delivery dates are feasible.
Provide regular updates of job progress and communicate delays or other challenges promptly to internal and external customers.
Facilitate and act as chairperson for formal routinely held team meetings, keep minutes and actions plan.
Costing of Jobs.
Providing weekly cost updates on WIP.
Prepare quotations for repairs as per agreed scope of work.
Managing and controlling of Work in Progress (WIP).
Maximize the overall utilization of the technicians to gain efficiencies and recoveries.
Self-development - E learning and allocated training by technical manager.
Will carry out any other function or duty as may be required in terms of "The Epiroc Way".

Competences, skills and experience:

Strong technical background, preferably within mining/construction equipment.
Experience in Planning and Scheduling for field activities.
Compilation of SOM and scope of work quotations and job cost analyses.
High level of computer literacy, MS Excel, Project, Word, Power Point etc.
ERP System knowledge and/or experience.
Self-starter, analytic and results driven.
Maintenance planning experience.
SAP experience.
JDE or equivalent.

Educational Qualifications:

Grade 12.
N4 with Applicable Trade (Millwright).
