Part-Time Toddler Teacher at Pagosa Springs Head StartSign-on bonus of $1,500 for a qualified candidate once hired to be paid after 90 days of successful employment. Classroom hours: Monday - Friday from 7:15 AM - 3:15 PM. This is a year-round position.Position Purpose: This position serves in a classroom to provide an appropriate social and emotional environment to expand children's ability to learn, grow, and build trusting relationships. This role works in a classroom-based setting with typically and atypically developing children and provides daily supervision and support for children's developmental needs. Positions may be reassigned to various classrooms/centers for program operations.Pay Range: The current hourly wage ranges from $16.55 - $23.99 depending on education level and experience.Preferred Experience: Previous experience working in early childhood with children ages birth through five years and holding:A higher education degree with 18 credit hours of foundational Early Childhood courses completed, orA current Infant/Toddler CDAMinimum requirements:Must be at least 18 years of age.High school diploma or equivalent certificate required. Some college coursework or ongoing ECE professional development preferred.Willing to obtain CDA within the first year of hire.
