The Paid Media Manager will be spending our clients digital budgets wisely within the paid social environment. The successful candidate will be allocated to a specific market and manage a portfolio of clients / one large client & campaigns.
So what is a Paid Media Manager?
Paid Media Managers are responsible for maximising our advertisers digital budgets according to their required goals. The role of a Paid Media Manager includes campaign implementation, optimisation, analysis and reporting. This person also acts as a technical contact between account managers, clients and fellow media managers. They must therefore be able to communicate effectively and manage internal and external client expectations. This position is one of the few around South Africa and will be a major step in your career.

IMPERATIVE
Must have a passion for digital marketing and wanting to build a career within the digital spaceMinimum 3 - 4 years year experience in running campaigns across social platformsExperience in managing digital campaigns with performance driven goalsExperience with managing digital campaigns for video & mobileMust know how to work with budgets and how to allocate them effectively Ability to troubleshoot tech issues within social platforms and present solutionsMust have the ability to understand and interpret the strategy and execute this within the applicable platformsAbility to analyze campaigns & implement strategy based on findingsAbility to conduct post-campaign analysis and to present that to Commercial teams / clientOutstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problemsAbility to work closely with senior team members & consultants to take direction with campaignsVery diligent – staying on top of the detailsAbility to succeed in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsADVANTAGE
Experience working in a Media Agency within PPC/Google Ads/SearchExperience within Google Campaign Manager (CM) and DV360Experience within the affiliate / Lead Generation sectorExperience within Google Tag Manager 360 or any other tag management toolExperience in management of digital accounts with ROI focus (ecommerce space). Experience with Google Analytics and how to implement & interpret dataAbility to build reporting templates which is suited for clientDESIRED CHARACTERISTICS

Employ Strategic Campaign set up with sufficient research and following direction given by ConsultantAnalyse campaign performance and make recommendations for optimizationRegular review of performance of campaigns across revenue, performance and pacingEnsure campaign delivery against revenue goals and Key Performance Indicators as established with the client and ConsultantsDaily monitoring of campaigns to ensure performance goals and revenue objectives are metEnsure all correct revenues and media costs are reported on a monthly basisEnsure all administration is accurate and up to dateBeing able to motivate oneself & to continue self developmentCollaboration with Client Manager (Commercial team)
Close daily collaboration with consultants & client manager to understand client's goals and needs, communicating campaign metrics and performance as neededCampaign performance analysis and presentation to client manager and / or consultant for all campaignsFirst level of troubleshooting and triage on technical and performance related issuesKey competencies and work ethic
