Job ResponsibilitiesInnovation: Assist the marketing function with selecting, designing & implementing the most appropriate packaging solution for new products launched.Value Engineering: Continuously review the packaging portfolio to ensure optimal specifications and relevant packaging formats.Sustainability: Maintain a database with packaging information in support of sustainability (EPR, Recyclability etc.) and develop a gameplan to continuously improve sustainability metrics.Supplier Development: Work with current & potential new suppliers to increase/improve the repertoire of credible alternative suppliers.Sourcing: Responsible for the procurement of a selected portfolio of packaging items.Desired Experience & QualificationOur Ideal Candidate Should Have The Following:Relevant Packaging Technology/Development Qualification (for example IPSA 1 year Packaging Technology Diploma)0-5 years' experience in FMCG environment, with FOOD & BEVERAGESOther Attributes:Strong Technical Skills relating to different packaging formats/substrates/specifications.Project ManagementExcellent communicator and collaboratorAction orientated/ sense of urgency.Attention to detail, critical & analytical thinker.Proactive self-starterGood MS Excel Skills
