AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY Qualifications: Proven experience in packaging management, supply chain coordination, or logistics, with at least 3 years in a similar role within the automotive manufacturing industry. Experience in packaging materials specific to automotive parts and components, understanding the unique requirements of handling and packaging in a manufacturing environment. Track record of successfully managing inventory, optimizing processes, and reducing costs associated with packaging materials and handling. Experience with packaging software or enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for tracking materials, generating reports, and monitoring inventory levels. Skils Required: Attention to Detail Quality Control Problem-Solving Leadership Communication Time Management Technical Proficiency Team Collaboration Knowledge of Packaging Materials and Machinery Inventory Management Regulatory Compliance Software, Equipment, Tools and Machinery required: Software Packaging Management Systems Inventory Management Software Quality Control Software Design Software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, AutoCAD) Equipment Packaging Machines (automated lines, labelling machines) Quality Inspection Tools (calipers, label verifiers) Material Handling Equipment (forklifts, conveyors) Tools Barcode Scanners Packaging Templates Testing Tools (e.g., drop tests, compression tests) Machinery Filling and Sealing Machines Labelling Machines Stretch Wrappers and Palletizers Responsabilities: Oversee Packaging Operations : Ensure smooth and efficient packaging processes across all production lines. Quality Assurance : Monitor packaging quality, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with standards. Inventory Management: Manage and track packaging materials, ensuring timely stock replenishment. Team Supervision: Lead and train packaging staff, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols. Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in packaging efficiency and cost reduction. Equipment Management: Ensure packaging machinery is maintained, calibrated, and operates efficiently. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure packaging meets regulatory requirements and maintains relevant records. Customer Communication: Address packaging-related customer concerns and ensure packaging meets client specifications. Troubleshooting: Quickly resolve any packaging issues to prevent production delays. Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular reports on packaging performance, issues, and improvements
