Logistics Coordinator Job DescriptionOur client in the Building Industry is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator, who has effective written and verbal communications skills, pays attention to detail and has a strong character to join their team.Job Type: PermanentLocation: MidrandDuties and ResponsibilitiesPlans, organizes, and coordinates the movement of Cement and materials to ensure that delivery schedules are met.Liaise with suppliers, customers, and transport service providers to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of loads.Create and manage transport schedules.Monitor the progress of transport operations and adjust schedules as necessary.Ensure that all transport operations comply with relevant regulations, including safety and environmental regulations.Ensure that drivers and vehicles are licensed and registered correctly.Keep accurate records of transport operations, fuel consumption, and transport schedules.Resolve any issues that arise during transport operations, including delays, breakdowns, and other disruptions.Develop and manage relationships with transporters and customers.Minimum RequirementsA degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.3-4 years' experience as Logistics Coordinator or Planner is essential.SAP Experience.Excel Experience.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Should you wish to be considered for this opportunity, please apply directly to the advertisement.
