Audit Manager
Our client is a leading firm specializing in providing personalized and high-quality auditing and advisory services to a broad range of industries. Salary Expectation: +- R50,000 per month (depending on experience)
Benefits: Employee Benefit Plan, Laptop provided (deduction from salary, ownership after 3 years)
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07:00/07:30/08:00 – 16:00/16:30/17:00, Friday: 07:00 – 13:30
Location: On-site at Lynnwood Manor, Pretoria
Responsibilities: Manage a Diverse Client Network: Oversee a portfolio of clients, providing tailored audit and advisory services. Ensure services meet client-specific needs and maintain high client satisfaction levels.Planning and Directing Resources: Develop detailed audit plans and manage resource allocation. Optimize team assignments based on individual strengths and project requirements.Managing Client Relationships: Act as the primary contact for clients, fostering long-lasting relationships. Address client inquiries promptly and ensure smooth service delivery.Ensure Compliance with Audit Standards: Ensure adherence to auditing standards and quality control measures. Review audit work thoroughly to maintain accuracy and best practices.Training and Upskilling of Personnel: Mentor and guide audit staff, fostering their technical and professional development. Organize training sessions to keep the team updated on industry standards.Debtors Management: Oversee accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely billing and collections. Implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding debts.Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Establish KPIs for audit engagements to measure efficiency and effectiveness. Lead initiatives to achieve performance targets and drive continuous improvement.Qualifications and Experience Requirements: Newly Qualified CA(SA) or soon-to-be qualified.Must have passed at least the first board exam (ITC).Skills and Certifications: Proficiency in computer software (audit-related tools).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and logical thinking.Ability to work well within a team.This role is key to the firm's strategic growth. The Audit Manager has clear career progression opportunities, including advancement to Senior Associate and, if performance expectations are met, to Director.
