Job Title: CarbonCrop Account ManagerIdeal Location: Pretoria, or central within the Summer Grain Region (flexible)Core Responsibilities:Onboarding farmers onto the CarbonCrop ProgrammeAssisting farmers in their regenerative transitionConducting regenerative agriculture (RA) and carbon sequestration researchDriving business development by promoting RA in key target areas and attending farmer daysCalculating net emissions for farmers using CarbonCrop toolsAssisting farmers in data collection and processingConducting farm visits, managing trial sites, and collecting samplesRequirements:A relevant degree in Agri Business, Agri Economics, Soil Sciences or similarA deep knowledge of and passion for regenerative/sustainable agriculture, its challenges and benefitsExperience working with and supporting farmersValid driver's license and suitable vehicle for local travelExcellent written and verbal communication skills in Afrikaans and EnglishComfortable computer skills, including ExcelAn existing local farmer network is advantageousSalary: Industry-relatedApplication Instructions:See our Orizon LinkedIn profile for the job post & application instructions.
