This is a hands-on role where your exceptional logistical and organisational skills are key.As our Operations Manager, you will assist our General Manager in the successful delivery of high-quality treks on the Larapinta Trail. You will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and servicing our semi-permanent camp sites, managing our guide team, the management of our vehicle fleet, gear maintenance and repairs, ensuring trailers are packed for trips and ensuring our guides are supported to deliver our renowned high quality Larapinta Trail experiences. This is a varied dynamic role within a friendly, professional, and passionate team.We are looking for someone with:Min 2 years' experience in a logistical/support services roleAbility to drive a manual vehicle and tow trailers to high standard4WD experienceBasic Microsoft Office Suite skillsExcellent organisational, multi-tasking, communication, time management and prioritisation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGuiding experience and/or experience in the nature-based / trekking tourism industry is an advantage.Required Qualifications:Light Rigid Driver's license with H endorsement (PPV)Current Provide First Aid certificate (CPR included and Wilderness First Aid preferred) or ability to obtainFood Safety Certificate Level 2 or ability to obtain.Role commences February 2024This is a seasonal role with 8-month pro rata contract available.
