Our client, a thriving South African transport company specializing in refrigerated transport is expanding its operations and is looking for an Operations Manager, who will be located in Upington to lead their team to new heights OPERATIONS MANAGER TRANSPORT (UPINGTON) Requirements: Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the transport industry.
Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
Knowledge of South African transport laws and safety regulations.
Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work under pressure.
Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Logistics or Transport Management (advantageous).
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily transport operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage and optimize a fleet of vehicles for timely deliveries.
Lead, motivate and develop a team of 100 employees.
Ensure compliance with South African transport regulations.
Develop and implement strategies for growth and operational improvements.
