ULTIMATELY, WE EMPOWER PEOPLE TO BE FINANCIALLY CONFIDENT, SECURE AND PROSPEROUS.This role will report to the Regional Support Manager.This is a management position overseeing a team of Support Staff including the High Performance Centre to provide administrative support, controls and processes that will enable the effective/compliant and speedy issuing of new business; and undertake initiatives that will assist in driving sales for both the Choice and Tied businesses.Output/Core Tasks:Your success will come from:Management and control of key sales support related processesInput into Financial BudgetsOffice ManagementTechnology and after sales service enablementRelationship ManagementPeople and resource managementManagement of the support team on San IX (tech enablement)Management of specialist support roles (Retention, Medical, Leads, Policy servicing)What will make you successful in this role?Qualification and ExperienceGrade 12Diploma/Degree in Management will be a strong recommendation2 years managerial experience2-4 years proven experience in office administration/processing environment.
Preference of having worked within a sales distribution environmentKnowledge and SkillsTo be successful you will need to demonstrate good experience in:Distribution and sales business (preferably within Sanlam)Basic Sanlam product knowledgeBudgeting, expense managementKnowledge of management practices and processes, knowledge of HR practices and performance management principlesLegislative compliance and risk management of a financial services/sales environmentKnowledge of Sanlam's support services and administration processes (i.e.
: New Business)Must have a valid driver's license and reliable motor vehiclePersonal AttributesCultivates innovationFlexibility and adaptabilityAble to work well with different people and on multiple tasks (adaptable and flexible)Able to monitor, control wellExcellent communication skills (1:1, written and groups)Team, client and service focusedAttention to detail and accuracyStructured and organisedPerform extremely well under constant pressureAction orientatedTurnaround timeThe shortlisting process will only start once the application due date has been reached.
