As an essential true leader, you have a passion for managing & motivating a team of employees and coordinating with various stakeholders.Your responsibilities will include swiftly handling and resolving unexpected disruptions in the manufacturing process, such as equipment breakdowns or supply chain issues, and you will be meticulous in your work execution.You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility to achieve maximum production and profitability. This includes managing production schedules, ensuring quality control standards are met, and optimizing efficiency in the manufacturing process. The Operations Manager also plays a crucial role in managing inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, and implementing safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide overall leadership and strategic direction, ensuring the long-term growth and viability of the business.Continually enhance overall operational efficiencies and high standards of production, ensuring that only the highest quality produce/products are consistently delivered.Proactively manage all aspects related to food quality, health and safety, bio-security, and environmental compliance.Ensure that all aspects relating to Inventory Management are in place and fully implemented.Oversee the people management side of the business by providing necessary leadership.Ensure that operational, financial, and administrative records and reports are generated, analyzed, and acted upon to continuously improve efficiency.Liaise with key external service/product suppliers to ensure smooth operation and maximize efficiencies.Ensure customer satisfaction and handle complaints professionally and expediently.Desired Experience & QualificationRelevant Degree in Production/Operations Management/Agricultural Science/Animal Science/Animal Nutrition.Management/Leadership/MBA related courses/qualifications.Minimum of 10 years' experience in Manufacturing/Processing, essential in the manufacturing & animal feed industry.Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Operations Manager in the manufacturing & animal feed industry.Sound knowledge of MS Office & experience in compiling reports.
