Operations Manager

THE ROLE:As the Operations Manager (Rooms and Food & Beverage), you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee, coordinate, and direct the service, operations, and logistics of the hotel.
This role is responsible for ensuring excellence in both the Rooms Division and F&B operations, delivering an outstanding guest experience and maintaining high standards across all touchpoints.WHAT'S IN A DAY'S WORK?Oversee the operations of both Rooms Division and F&B outlets to ensure seamless service deliveryLead the hotel teams to provide world-class, personalized guest serviceAssist the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the hotel and deputize in their absenceCollaborate with department managers to ensure coordination between teams for operational efficiencyImplement and maintain high standards of service, facilities, and cleanliness in all areasManage guest inquiries, feedback, and requests, ensuring prompt and professional resolutionsEnsure F&B service standards are consistently met, with a focus on enhancing guest satisfaction and revenueMonitor financial performance, including cost controls, revenue management, and adherence to budgetary targetsSupport team development, providing training, mentoring, and performance managementREQUIREMENTS:A degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management or Leadership5 years of experience in hotel operations, with expertise in Rooms Division and F&BProven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and drive service excellenceProficient in English, with strong communication skillsExperience in budgeting, financial management, and revenue optimizationFamiliarity with hotel management software and F&B systemsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and adapt to changing environmentsA passion for guest service and hospitalityBENEFITS PACKAGE:Award-winning employerCompetitive salaryFree meals on duty and uniforms providedJoin us at Drostdy Hotel in Graaff-Reinet and help shape unforgettable guest experiences!
