This role is crucial for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facility, ensuring that all aspects of risk management, financial oversight, and personnel management are effectively executed. The Operations Manager will play a key role in driving operational excellence and enhancing our service delivery.Key Responsibilities:Risk Management: Develop, implement, and monitor risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to the organisation. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Operations Management: Oversee and coordinate daily operations to ensure seamless execution of processes. Monitor performance metrics, analyse operational data, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of the operations, including budgeting, financial planning, and cost control. Prepare financial reports and analyses to support strategic decision-making and ensure financial targets are met.Personnel Management: Lead and manage a team of staff, including training, and evaluating performance. Foster a positive work environment, encourage professional development, and address any personnel issues as they arise.Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all operational activities comply with relevant regulations, company policies, and safety standards. Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of safety and compliance.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to drive operational excellence. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall performance.Client Relations: Maintain and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Address client concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction with our services.Qualifications:Matric or NQF Level 4Proven experience in operations management, with a strong background in risk management, financial oversight, and personnel management.Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, staff, and stakeholders.Experience in a similar industry or sector is preferred.PSiRA qualification would be advantageous.
