The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a proven track record in property management operations. This role requires effective communication with tenants, clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to maintain high standards of property management. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and have a passion for optimising operational efficiency in property management, we encourage you to apply.What You Will BringMinimum Grade 12 qualificationBetween 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in Facilities or Operations ManagementElectrical, mechanical, or construction background, as well as technical skillsExperience in overseeing daily operations and coordinating team effortsProficiency in computer applications including MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), as well as business systems such as SAP and MDAAwareness and implementation of quality standardsBasic contract management abilitiesProven experience in managing and maintaining service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors and service providersWorking knowledge and understanding of lease conditionsAdministration principles and reporting expertiseUnderstanding of cost budgeting and controlWorking knowledge of statutory requirements, including the Occupational Health and Safety ActExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Proficiency in basic numeracy skillsWhat You Will Be DoingIn this role, you will lead efforts in budgeting and expense control, building management and administration, facilities maintenance, and tenant installations. Some of the most important tasks include the following:Budgeting and expense controlManaging and creating purchase ordersOverseeing repairs and emergency and running maintenanceCoordinating aspects such as cleaning and securityConducting inspections, example reinstatement, vacancy, building conditions, OHS, etc.Energy managementLiaising with internal and external parties on housekeeping matters and addressing building-related queriesEnsuring compliance with statutory requirements and coordinating Public Liability and Property damage claimsPlanning and executing planned maintenanceManaging ad-hoc projects and coordinating tenant installationsMonitoring monthly deviations, seeking approvals, and ensuring operational complianceIf you are ready to take the next step in your career and make a significant impact in property management, we encourage you to apply for the Operations Manager position.
