The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, finance, and legal compliance within our manufacturing and distribution business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general operations management, with a focus on commercial law, and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth management of accounting functions, ISO compliance, shipping operations, and staff management.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; additional qualifications in business administration, finance, or operations management are a plus.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing and distribution environment.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial management, and legal compliance.Experience with ISO standards and shipping operations.Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.Proficient in using relevant software and tools, such as ERP systems, accounting software, and MS Office Suite.Duties:Operational Management:Oversee day-to-day operations of the manufacturing and distribution processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures to align with organizational goals.Ensure compliance with ISO standards and other regulatory requirements.Manage the shipping and logistics function, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products.Financial Management:Oversee the accounting function up to trial balance, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.Develop and manage the budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Analyze financial data and performance, providing strategic recommendations for improvements.Ensure financial compliance with relevant regulations and laws.Legal Compliance And Commercial Law:Ensure all operations comply with local, national, and international laws and regulations, with a focus on commercial law.Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.Provide legal advice and support on operational matters to senior management and other departments.Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations and implement changes as necessary.Staff Management:Manage and lead a team of operational, financial, and legal professionals, providing guidance and support.Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.Desired Skills:AccountingBusiness managementImports and exportsLogisticsOffice managementOperations managementBusiness operations
