We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in Food & Beverage to join our team.
This role is essential in overseeing the management of our on-site Restaurant while providing vital support to the General Manager across hotel operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, F&B expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
F&B Management
Oversee Front and Back of House operations to ensure a seamless dining experience.
Lead and supervise all aspects of restaurant management, including customer service, staff supervision, and dining room management.
Maximize revenue through strategic menu planning, pricing, and promotional activities.
Manage inventory and supply orders, maintaining optimal stock levels.
Train and motivate staff to deliver service excellence, maintaining brand standards.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor and control operational costs, aiming for efficiency and waste reduction.
Generate detailed reports on expenses and operational performance.
Promote the restaurant through community engagement and events.
Assistant General Manager
Support the General Manager with daily hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, and maintenance.
Collaborate with department heads to ensure team cohesion and alignment with hotel goals.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and implementing cost control measures.
Participate in strategic decision-making processes to enhance business growth.
Foster a positive work environment and maintain open communication between management and staff.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
Previous experience in a similar role in an upscale environment (essential).
Strong F&B knowledge with a deep understanding of hospitality operations.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Demonstrated financial management skills, including budgeting and cost control.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Flexibility to work hospitality hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Own vehicle and valid driver's license (essential).
Residing close to Franschhoek is preferred for ease of commute.
