Job Title: Operations ManagerAs the Operations Manager, you will ensure the organization runs smoothly and efficiently, meeting the expectations and needs of customers and clients. By managing day-to-day activities, analyzing statistics, and preparing reports, you will play a vital role in the company. You will liaise with team members, interact with managers across different areas, present findings to stakeholders, and train and supervise new employees while tracking staff performance.Main duties of this role:Ensuring all operations are conducted correctly, cost-effectively, and timely, aligning with specifications and quality requirements.Improving operational management systems, processes, and best practices to guarantee organizational well-being.Planning and controlling change.Managing quality assurance programs.Researching new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency.Utilizing audit report tools to measure site performance effectiveness.Supervising and coaching supervisors regularly.Improving operational systems, processes, and best practices.Ensuring warehouse efficiency.Contributing to the achievement of clients' and company's strategic and operational objectives.Monitoring employee KPIs.Addressing client and personnel concerns.Ensuring ongoing communication between departments to maintain continuous improvement.Supporting clients in planning and ensuring adequate resources for the business.Training staff and managers to ensure adequate performance.Providing leadership support to teams and motivating staff to achieve productivity goals.Other duties:Improving operational systems, processes, and policies in support of the organization's mission.Supporting better management reporting, information flow, and organizational planning.Increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services through improvements and coordination between functions.Playing a significant role in long-term planning for operational excellence.Identifying skills gaps in the organization and recommending a recruitment program to address them.Liaising with senior management and directors to keep them updated on shop floor matters.Setting and reviewing budgets and managing costs.Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:Proven work experience as an operations manager.Adequate knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.Budget development and oversight experience.HR/IR knowledge (Unions/CCMA/Disciplinary Hearings).Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.Leadership and organizational skills.Planning skills to ensure future goals are clearly outlined.Problem-solving abilities to adapt to changing environments.Attention to detail.Superior computer and typing skills, including data entry.Good verbal communication with employees.Ability to work with minimal supervision.Competence with spreadsheets.Multi-tasking abilities.Ability to work on deadlines.Reliable and flexible individual.Working hours:As the Operations Manager, you are required to ensure operations run effectively to support customer requirements, which may entail a 7-day operation.
