As an Operations Administrator, your role will be to ensure that IETA engages constructively with key internal stakeholders and Members that meet the urgent need to decarbonise and deliver the net zero ambition.Reporting to the Operations Manager in South Africa, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Operations Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of financial and operational tasks to support the overall functioning of the organisation.Responsibilities to include:Assist with financial tasks such as processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reportsMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial recordsGenerating and distributing invoicesPayments follow upResolving billing discrepancies and issuesKeeping accurate records of payments and transactionsMonitoring accounts receivable aging reportsGenerating financial reports related to accounts receivablesAssisting with travel expenses and codingWorking closely with other departments, such as Membership and Events, to address member and sponsor payment issuesUpdating membership account information in QuickBooksProviding excellent membership service to address inquiries and concerns related to billing and payments.Support the operations team in managing day-to-day activitiesSupport Operations in the implementation and execution of efficient systems and processes to improve operational efficiencyCollaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations across all departmentsQualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree/ Diploma (Post Matric) in finance, business administration, or a related fieldProven experience in a similar role or internship, with knowledge of financial and operational processesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software (preferably QuickBooks)Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyDetail-oriented and highly organisedExperience in working with multiple currencies preferredPackage and Location:The package will be commensurate with experience25 days of holiday plus public holidaysThis position is a hybrid role, based in the Western Cape / South Africa (with preference to Cape Town or within commuting distance)If you are a passionate, self-starter with a keen interest in Operations and administration, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity!When applying, please ensure you complete the application form - located through the link.
