EUM, part of the TWK group, has the following vacancy available: Operational Binder Specialist at Pretoria, Gauteng.Responsibilities And DutiesReview insurance applications and supporting documentsDraft policy schedules and wordings in line with product specificationsEnsure FSP complies with the operational requirements of binder functionsEnsure FSP complies with industry standards and company policiesPrepare monthly reporting for insurersOversee and ensure fair outcomes to policyholders in line with COFIAssist with OMNI CBR reportingEnsure Regulatory complianceResolve issues related to binders, including amendments and discrepanciesImplement FSP's policy systems and ensure compliance with SOP and alignment with legislative frameworksOversee binder audits with the InsurersOversee transition from formal insurance to binder insuranceUnderstand compliance requirements of FAIS, Insurance Acts, POPIA, PAIA, FIC, AML and Cybersecurity for FSP'sQualifications and SkillsRelevant degree in Finance, Law or Business AdministrationMinimum 5 years managerial experience within the Insurance industry specifically funeral insuranceRE1 certificateProficient in EnglishMicrosoft Office SkillsDriver's licenseStrong drafting and communication skillsGood business acumenAn experienced individual with knowledge of life insurance products and operational requirements of binder agreementsUnderstanding of the funeral insurance and the funeral parlour marketStrong analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to work under pressureResults driven individual that can manage relationships with various stakeholders and shareholdersWilling to travel
