Operational Accountant

A very exciting role is available for an experienced Accountant to join a dynamic and growing team. As the Operational Accountant you will manage a small team. You will be responsible for over-seeing the Debtors, Treasury and Debtors system administrator functions. If you are keen on exploring this role and have a keen interest in the payments and lending area, then let's chat!Responsibilities:Treasury - ensuring sufficient cash is available to meet operational needsCashflow forecastingOversee Monthly Payroll Journal and process paymentsMonitor, reconciliation and confirmation of Inter-company loan accountsOversee the completion of relevant balance sheet recons (Debtors' Book, Bank Reconciliations, Suspense Accounts)Systems Administration - Responsible for allocation and mapping of all new transactionsBe the Main Pastel Administrator - responsible for maintaining the chart of accounts, setting up of new users and the year-end roll-over processLead and guide a small teamRequirements:Accounting or Finance degreeMinimum of 5 years' experience in a similar roleComputer experience: PastelDemonstrate analytical and critical thinking skillsStrong planning, organizing, scheduling, and objective settingPlease note if you have not heard from us in 2 weeks from application, please consider your application unsuccessful - please do continue to follow us online and apply for suitable roles.
