Job Description:
To ensure alignment and compliance to the Group Process Safety Management (PSM) system and standards. Develop, maintain and continuously improve Process Safety (PS) for SHERQ SADC in line with the legal requirements for the major hazardous installations. All activities, roles and responsibilities are aligned to the world class (manufacturing) philosophy, principles and practices.

Job Responsibilities:

Promote continuous improvement of PS Management systems and processes
Align PS Management systems with holistic IMS for site
Provide support and coaching to SHERQ team and customers
Ensure adherence to Omnia Group risk methodology and practices
Design, drive implementation, maintenance and improvement of PS management systems (including CAIA requirements)
Validate and verify the correct specifications, protocols and standards are applied in the implementation of PS Management systems
Assist in development and revision of PS related documentation and ensure implementation and compliance thereto across site

Job Requirements:

5 – 8 Years' experience in a chemical industry with an additional 5 years in Process Safety field
BSc/BEng (Chemical Engineering)
Post Graduate Degree (SHERQ Systems, Process or Chemical Engineering) would be an added advantage
