Office Support Manager: Cfo Office

To provide a comprehensive and strategic support to the Chief Financial Officer by providing day to day oversight of operational matters and supporting planning and execution of key deliverablesTo monitor, evaluate and measure the timeous implementation of deliverables across the DivisionSupport the co-ordination and alignment of Group Finance activitiesIdentify trends for business improvement and risk management purposesQualification:  Minimum qualification: relevant commercial or technical degreeA Post graduate Qualification in a relevant field (e.g.
CA(SA), MBA/MBL, LLB etcExperience:  The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 5 - 8 years' experience in the financial disciplineExperience in State Owned Entities or development finance entities and understanding of all applicable legislative and governance principles relative to Group FinanceUnderstanding of sustainable banking imperatives and environmental, social and governance requirements would be an advantageCandidate must have an appreciation of the role of the IDCThe candidate must have absolute commitment towards the values of the Corporation.Experience working in a high-level collaborative environmentProven track record of effectively interacting with senior managementAbility to work strategically and collaboratively across departmentsEffective, versatile and action-orientedExcellent communication skillsAbility to manage multiple competing priorities while building effective relationshipsExtremely organized and persistent, with drive and determination to achieve goals.Management and leadership experience will be an added advantageKnowledge of Microsoft Word, Advanced Excel and PowerPointPractical knowledge of SAP will be an added advantageFinancial / Shareholder Returns To serve as advisor to the CFOTo assume day-to-day responsibility for projects and tasks and Coordinate the execution of strategic initiativesTo create and maintain cross-departmental relationships to enable leadership successTo manage the Chief Financial Officers budget and cost centres.
