Your opportunity:
The Department of Family and Community Medicine (DFCM) is recognized for its clinical, educational, and research excellence. We aim to advance a vision for high-quality primary health care and address priority issues in primary care through the Office of Health System Partnership (OHSP). As Research Officer, you will support program evaluation and implementation science research studies aimed at improving primary care.
Your responsibilities will include: Coordinating tasks for projects and informing on project progress.Fostering positive relationships with project partners.Implementing qualitative and quantitative research methods.Liaising with stakeholders regarding funding applications.Synthesizing technical, qualitative, and contextual research data.Conducting systematic literature reviews and preparing reports.Handling sensitive and/or confidential information.Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience in an academic or healthcare environment.Experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods.Research writing experience, including systematic literature reviews.Proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing research data.Experience with funding applications.Knowledge of research software (e.g., Qualtrics, NVivo, Stata, SPSS, R).Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.Assets (Nonessential): MSc DegreeTo be successful in this role you will be: OrganizedProceduralResourcefulTeam playerThis is a term position of 2 years.
