Job Title: Office Manager
Job Summary: The office manager is responsible for the efficient functioning of the office by managing day-to-day operations and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the business. The primary responsibility of the Office Manager is to arrange and oversee administrative tasks while adhering to the company's office procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Management:

Supervising the daily operations of the office in accordance with the company's standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Must be familiar with and utilize a specific set of company-approved software, such as chat software, email, spreadsheets, and databases, to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
Conduct employee performance evaluations, oversee performance management, and address staff disciplinary matters in accordance with the company's code of conduct.
Manage and organize office records, documents, and files.
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls.


Facility Management:

Ensure the office premises are well-maintained and organized.
Ensure that all employees are acquainted with and adhere to the terms and conditions set forth by the company in the course of their work.
Coordinate office equipment maintenance and repairs.
Manage relationships with various different departments/Managers.


Human Resources Support:

Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process for new employees.
Maintain employee records and manage timekeeping systems.
Coordinate employee events and activities.


Communication and Coordination:

Act as a liaison between different departments and teams.
Communicate effectively with staff, management, and external contacts.


Supervision and Leadership:

Supervise administrative staff and delegate tasks as necessary.
Provide leadership and support to the administrative team.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.


Policy Implementation:

Enforce office policies and procedures that are already implemented.
Maintain best practices for office efficiency.



Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience as an office manager or in a similar administrative role.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in office software.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles.

Note: Additionally, the office manager may be required to take on additional responsibilities or special projects as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R10000,00 - R15000,00 per month
