Qualifications Matric Bachelors degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Internal Audit, Business Administration, or a related fieldProfessional certifications such as CPA, CA(SA),CIMA or IIA are strongly preferred;Requirements Minimum of Five (5) Ten (10) years of experiencein internal audit, risk management, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial roleProven knowledge of financial and operational controls, preferably within the manufacturing sectorProven ability to improve and optimise business processes.DutiesAudit Planning and ExecutionDevelop and implement an annual audit plan based on a risk-based assessment of the organisations activities;Manage and conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits across various business units;Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, processes, and risk management frameworks;Identify and implement business process improvement opportunities;Risk Management and ComplianceIdentify areas of risk and recommend strategies to mitigate potential exposures;Ensure compliance with internal policies, standard operating procedures and relevant legal and regulatory standards;Provide advisory support to business units regarding internal controls and best practices;Reporting and CommunicationPrepare and present audit findings to senior management and audit and risk committees, highlighting key risks and recommendations;Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and provide follow-up assessments;LeadershipLead and mentor the divisional finance teams across the organisation regarding financial and operational controls, ensuring high performance;Foster a culture of integrity, transparency, and continuous improvement;Stakeholder EngagementAct as the key liaison with the groups independent internal auditors;Build strong relationships with business leaders to promote a collaborative approach to risk management and internal controlsPerform other related duties as may be required from time to time.
