New Business Sales Representative

Your primary responsibility is to play a key role in driving business growth and expanding our client base. Your focus will be on acquiring new clients by initiating contact with prospective leads, nurturing those leads, and ultimately transitioning the client relationship to the Customer Care Team once a sale is secured.?

Collaborate with management to devise business development strategies in line with company objectives.

Conduct thorough analysis to identify target markets and potential opportunities.

Lead Generation:
Innovate and execute methods for generating leads via various channels.

Client Engagement:
Build relationships with clients, understand their needs, and offer strategic insights.

Consulting:
Provide personalised consultations and tailored solutions to clients.

Proposal Development:
Create compelling proposals and presentations.

Deal Negotiation:
Lead negotiations for successful deal closures.

Relationship Management:
Foster long-term client relationships and identify growth opportunities.

Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimise strategies.

Reporting:
Track business development activities and provide insights for improvement.


Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven track record in business development, in tech or related fields.
Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of business development strategies and sales processes.
Industry Knowledge:
Understanding of technology trends and benefits of managed services.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Relationship Building:
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust.
Analytical Thinking:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Results-Oriented:
Ability to meet or exceed targets and drive revenue growth.
Adaptability:
Flexibility to navigate fast-paced environments.

Salary and Incentives:

• Basic Salary: R15,000 per month.
• Incentive: If you complete more than 15 qualifying discovery meetings in a month, you will receive an additional R800 per extra meeting. This incentive is calculated as an average over a quarterly period to ensure consistent performance throughout the quarter. This means that the incentive is evaluated based on the average number of meetings over three months, rather than monthly targets alone.

Tiered Sales Commission:

Tier 1 (0 to 1 Customer signed up): 5% commission.
Tier 2 (2 to 3 Customers signed up): 7.5% commission + 1% accelerator for MRR revenue above 1.2 million annual MRR G.P revenue.
Tier 3 (4 to 6 Customers signed up): 10% commission + 2% accelerator for MRR revenue above 2.4 million annual MRR G.P revenue.
Tier 4 (7+ Customers signed up): 12% commission + 3% accelerator MRR revenue above 3.2 million annual MRR G.P revenue.

Annual Bonus Structure: 3 per year

1. Performance-Based Bonus KPI

85-89 Points: Meets Expectations
- Bonus: 5% of gross annual salary.
- Criteria: Manage an Average of between 85%-89% score calculated per month over 12 Months.

90-94 Points: Exceeds Expectations
- Bonus: 8% of gross annual salary.
- Criteria: Manage an Average of between 90%-94% score calculated per month over 12 Months.

95-100 Points: Exceptional Performance
- Bonus: 10% of gross annual salary.
- Criteria: Manage an Average of between 90%-94% score calculated per month over 12 Months.

2. Company-wide Customer Retention Bonus

Bonus Tiers and Payouts
Tier 1 - 95% Retention Rate:
Bonus: 5% of gross annual salary.
Criteria: Maintain a customer retention rate of 95% over the defined measurement period.

Tier 2 - 98% Retention Rate:
Bonus: 8% of gross annual salary.
Criteria: Elevate customer retention to 98%.

Tier 3 - 100% Retention Rate:
Bonus: 10% of gross annual salary.
Criteria: Achieve a perfect customer retention rate of 100%.



3. Company-wide MRR Target Achievement Bonus

Bonus Tiers:
95% of MRR Target:
Bonus: 5% of gross annual salary.
Criteria: Achieve 95% of the set MRR target for the fiscal year.

98% of MRR Target:
Bonus: 8% of gross annual salary.
Criteria: Achieve 98% of the set MRR target for the fiscal year.

100% of MRR Target:
Bonus: 10% of gross annual salary.
Criteria: Achieve 100% of the set MRR target for the fiscal year.
