My client, a leading and well known company based on the East Rand requires New Business Representatives with experience in the Services Industry. This position is reprting to the Head of Customer Relations. Purpose of the Job: To effectively market the Company stable of Product Offerings to potential customers with a view to increasing contracted manufacturer business and forging long-term customer partnerships. In addition, further develop manufacturer/retailer business partnerships, which provide a total end to end solution to the client, pre the assignment of the converted customer to the Account Executive for Library Management. Requirements: Matric (compulsory), Tertiary education preferable Knowledge and ability to use MS Office portfolio of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Needs a comprehensive understanding of Sales in the Services industry Product Offering across Brands (will cover in induction and be ongoing) At least 4 to 5 years New Business Acquisition experience including Cold Calling Experience in a Service Industry ESSENTIAL Must have a solid Sales Lead Generating background ESSENTIAL Must have experience in client relationship management/customer service Call Centre Experience a plus Good Computer skills SA Citizens only Must be Criminal Clear Must reside in the greater Johannesburg area Must have excellent business acumen Behaviours and attributes: Service Driven Ability to understand customers needs Target driven Resilient to criticism/rejection Good communication/negotiation skills Strong problem-solving skills Initiative Attention to detail Ability to handle deadlines and stress Self-confident and determined Self-motivated and self-disciplined KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Achieving Sales and Business Development Objectives Actively seek out and convert new business (annual target to be assigned) Achieve and strive to exceed budgets Comply with sales plan and identify course correction if required Conduct regular meetings with Head of Customer Relations, identifying opportunities and resolving challenges where necessary Prepare, present and maintain New Business Plan to achieve objectives. Identify new potential business opportunities (sectors, markets etc) Maintain Effective Communication Share knowledge within the team and draw upon the expertise of others across the Hirt & Carter business units to fulfil customer requirements. Effective communication with all internal and external customers. As a team, lead bi-monthly New Business Update meetings with Head of Customer Relations Develop Knowledge and Skills Maintain New Business Opportunity Database and track conversion rate Establish (with senior management) role development objectives and carry out plans to achieve these objectives.
