Manage server, network, application, and virtual CIO support for customer onboarding and ongoing system maintenance. Provide expert-level support to the Tier II team to quickly resolve complex technical issues. Respond to customer needs through phone consultations, remote diagnostics, or onsite visits. Implement and manage BCDR solutions and assist clients with cloud migrations (AWS, Azure). Install and manage server infrastructure, including DNS, DHCP, domain hosting, and virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware). Manage Microsoft server licensing and Office 365 migrations. Configure and maintain wireless access points, firewalls, switches, and other network components. Enhance the companys knowledge base with troubleshooting tips and support documentation. Apply advanced technical expertise to resolve complex system and network issues. Stay current with First Technology Somerset West products, software, and hardware systems, and pursue relevant certifications. Foster positive relationships with co-workers, customers, and vendors. Participate in the on-call rotation for priority escalations. Align client environments with the companys best practices and technical standards. Perform additional duties as needed. · Expert-level customer support for Managed IT Services Extensive knowledge of hardware, software, cloud technology, server infrastructure, and network systems. Diploma, degree, or relevant qualification in IT/Computing (or equivalent work experience). 7 years of experience in Tier II or Tier III IT support. Strong customer service skills and experience working in a physical office environment. Willingness to travel to client sites as needed. Expertise in backup technology, cloud technology, server infrastructure, and network systems. Advanced knowledge of Hyper-V, VMware, and Microsoft licensing. Experience with Cisco, Ishield, Mikrotik, and Sophos networks. Familiarity with deployment software (Microsoft WDS, MDT) and network protocols (TCP/IP, OSI model). Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Proficiency in Linux.
