NCC 02/1/24: Advertisement of the Post Risk ManagerOnly for registered membersSalary: ZAR 200,000 - 300,000Job Reference: NCC 02/1/24Post: Risk ManagerTotal Cost to Employer: R 811,560 PER ANNUMCentre: Pretoria, GroenkloofPurpose of the Job:To manage, monitor, report, and direct the development and implementation of risk management plans and strategies at the NCC.Key Responsibilities:Execute risk management for the NCC in conformance with the Public Sector Risk Management Framework.Develop the NCC's risk management plan (policy and strategy) in consultation with the Risk Management Committee.Perform risk assessments and identify all risk areas in the NCC.Develop the annual risk mitigation plan.Monitor staff compliance with all policies, procedures, and guidelines and communicate recommendations.Manage strategies for effective implementation of audit and risk plans.Monitor and report on risk issues related to finance, HR, ICT, and compliance.Draft reports and documentation for reporting to EXCO, Risk Management, and the Audit and Risk Management Committee.Manage the implementation of the plans.Advise management on the risk mitigation process.Implement the Fraud Prevention Plan.Conduct research into possible fraud and report on any findings.Assess the impact of the present fraud prevention procedures and norms.Review and update the present procedures, norms, and standards.Manage and report on a confidential reporting system to disclose violations of laws or policies.Develop and maintain responsibility for NCC's compliance, ethics, and integrity plan.Provide advice and manage the implementation of the Business Continuity Plan.Implement the business continuity plan.Monitor staff compliance with all policies, procedures, and guidelines and communicate recommendations.Work with EXCO to ensure that safety rules and regulations are upheld, and procedures are followed.Conduct audit and risk management awareness programmes for the NCC.Identify training needs related to Risk Management at the NCC.Develop risk awareness programmes.Conduct workshops on risk management.Evaluate the success and effectiveness of the workshops.Minimum Qualifications:National Diploma/B. Degree in Risk Management/Financial Management/Auditing/Business Administration and EB Driver's Licence.Minimum Experience:3 years of experience in Risk Management at the management level in the Private or Public sector.Minimum Training:Computer Literacy (MS Office Package) and Project Management.
