Key Responsibilities (but not limited to): Respond to animal rescues, emergencies, and cruelty callsEducate the community on animal care, handling, and sterilisationPerform inspections and document animal welfare concernsAssist in the collection of sick, injured, and unwanted animalsTake photos for investigations and follow-up inspectionsWork closely with inspectors and promote animal welfare across businessesRequirements: Registered as an Animal Welfare AssistantQualified Field Officer with at least 1 year of experienceValid Code 8 driver's licenceSAPS clearance certificatePassion for animal welfare and good animal handling skillsExcellent communication and administrative skillsAbility to work after hours and under pressure
