The ideal incumbent of the position will have the following profile: More than ten (10) years of relevant experience in business and operations management, with a tertiary qualification and/or demonstrable expertise in business management, preferably within the water & sanitation, mining, industrial, or construction sectors.Proven knowledge of water & sanitation systems, industrial safety, and quality standards, combined with strong business acumen and maturity, a proven track record of achieving targets, driving business growth, and the ability to think strategically and apply market and business solutions aligned with the broader company strategyPassion for sustainability and the environmental market, with a proactive and innovative approach.Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and follow through, coupled with a deep sense of responsibility, accountability, and a disciplined work ethic, as well as strong negotiation, persuasion, self-awareness, and self-confidence.Strong collaboration, team leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively manage conflicts, diversity, and team integration.Key responsibilities:Develop and Implement Business Development StrategiesDevelop and execute business development plans aligned with the Organisations goals to drive growth and expansion.Generate RevenueGenerate new revenue to meet sales and profit targets while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships for ongoing work.Business OversightMonitor and guide performance to ensure strategic objectives are met, risks managed, quality maintained, and resources used effectively for growth and excellence.Operational ExcellenceContinuously improve processes, products, and practices to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction, driving sustainable performance and competitiveness.Financial ManagementOversee financial health through budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and resource allocation to optimize profitability and ensure long-term sustainability.Customer ManagementCultivate strong customer relationships, drive satisfaction and loyalty, and grow revenue through tailored solutions, marketing initiatives, and exceptional serviceThe application process:Shortlisted candidates will be expected to undergo psychometric testing and background screening.Applicants who fulfil the abovementioned requirements are invited to apply for the position by following the link:
