Responsibilities What we're looking for: To co-create and execute customer centric category visions for the MT channels and customers across beverages categories.
Core Commercial Goals: To drive accelerated growth in line with PSP (PepsiCo Strategic Planning) and AOP (Annual Operating Plan) targets across the Beverages category ensuring we exceed expectations for the key OT customers.In line with the CATMAN programme and the Perfect Store roadmap deliver ground-breaking new category management insights and actions to the key stakeholders across the Commercial and Marketing functions and within our customers to spearhead sustainable growth.Ensure we maximise the ROI & efficiency of customer investments and help shape and plan future investments through data analysis, strategy development and category management principles.
Build trusted advisor for MT customers, demonstrating knowledge and strategic thinking and alignment.Analyse multiple data sets to provide category insight on drivers of performance of both the overall category and top MT customers, providing benchmarking and potential tactics to capitalise on mutually beneficial growth opportunities.Create customer centric selling decks, integrating shopper and market insights to engage key stakeholders, both internally and externally to enhance engagement and strategic understanding.Support customers on range reviews with shelf range, space and assortment analytics to optimise space and drive precision execution.Act as the voice of the customer in stage 1-4 of the commercialisation process of NPD to tailor execution and activation plans Stakeholder (internal and external) management, to enhance engagement and collaboration.Secure trusted advisor status by demonstrating PepsiCo's insight and thinking and drive shelf analytics and assortment to optimise space and precision execution in MT outlets. Qualifications What will qualify you for the role: Tertiary Qualification in a Commercial, Business or Statistical field coupled with previous exposure to FMCG environment (Understanding of the retailer landscape, and instore challenges) and at least 3 years' experience across data analysis, strategy creation, category management.Advanced EXCEL skills and Pivot table and formula creation skills.Accuracy and attention to detail.Problem-solving skills.Interpersonal and influencing skills.Teamworking skills.Written and verbal communication skills to take others with and act on asks.A methodical and logical approach.The ability to plan work and meet tight deadlines.A good level of mathematical ability.The ability to analyse, model and interpret data.Advanced customer and internal sales data experience.Advanced knowledge of the end to end GTM value chain from production to shelf – including optimization."PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer in line with the Employment Equity Act"
