Job Description
To schedule operational time. Ensure information systems equipment is effectively utilized and coordinate preventative maintenance with operating requirements.
Drive business profitability in the context of cost management through Information technology solutions.
Increase operational efficiency and suggest solutions to enhance cost effectiveness.
Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers' expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions.
Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SMEs, project managers, and senior staff members by providing input to business requirements.
Resolve escalated queries within the required SLA period from the Contact Centre.
Ensure appropriate IT Operational times are scheduled and monitor achievements against execution.
Set technical and strategic direction regarding all batch processes through support with Code Advanced JC, Code IBM JCL utilities, and product administration on all relevant FNB platforms.
Monitor changes in legislation, regulations, initiatives, and relevant industry practices. Ensure drafting and implementation of appropriate interventions. Ensure compliance with audit requirements.
Ensure information systems equipment is effectively utilized and coordinate preventive maintenance with operating requirements.
Ensure IT Front-end and Back-end process and product enhancements and make recommendations to improve service and processes for 3rd tier support of FNB IT products.
Set and enforce all batch standards using relevant tools to do Code Advanced Automation, Create Batch Schedules, and Create Change Order.
Support batch FTP and the creation of FTP encryption data by development and analyze and change batch schedules on request.
Manage own development to increase own competencies.
Ensure the Production Support team remains abreast of Front-end and Back-end products and process developments.
Plan and manage performance, skills development, employment equity, talent, and culture of the team in order to improve innovation, achieve efficiencies, and increase competencies.
