IntroductionAre you passionate about optimizing inventory levels and ensuring top-notch customer service? We're looking for a proactive MPS Planner and Analyst to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Group Integrated Planning Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in planning finished goods inventory levels and creating optimal production plans to meet customer demands while adhering to stocking policies and targets.
ResponsibilitiesProduction planning: Develop and maintain forward production plans aligned with customer demand, orders, and stock policies. Ensure timely execution of the MPS, generate production reports, and conduct analysis for continuous improvement.Inventory management: Minimize back orders, maintain adequate warehouse stock levels, and implement action plans to reduce obsolete stock. Drive inventory performance through regular reporting and analysis.Inventory rules and master data: Review and manage inventory rules, including target stock levels, safety stock, and lead times. Ensure accuracy and efficiency in planning master data.Supply Chain development: Actively participate in supply chain development initiatives, identify cost-saving opportunities, and collaborate with the supply chain team to enhance operational efficiency.Minimum RequirementsMatric/Grade 12 with a relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain/Logistics (National Diploma/Degree).SAPICS certification is highly advantageous.Minimum 5 years in an Inventory Management role, with expertise in Supply Chain Management, demand and production planning, and inventory policies.Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with E1 (JDE) or SAP is preferred.
