Mining - Safety Officer (Ftc)

A Mining house based in the Limpopo region is looking for a Safety Officer for a Fixed Term Contract position.
Duties The Role is responsible for the development, implementation and management of safety and risk control programs, as well as ensuring legal compliance and provision of a safety advisory and reporting service to the Operational Unit or Area.
Qualifications/Requirements 5 Years' experience in the processing and/or mining, engineering and construction environment.
Risk Assessment Techniques.
Safety Inspections and Auditing.
Train-the Trainer.
Incident Investigation.
Planning and Observation.
In-depth knowledge of all relevant SHE legislation.
Computer literate (MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access and Projects).
Presentation / Facilitation/ Training.
COMSOC 1&2.
SAMTRAC.
National Safety Diploma would be advantageous.
