Mining & Geotechnical Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Conduct geological assessments to evaluate site conditions and potential risks.

Develop and implement mining strategies that prioritize safety and efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of geotechnical considerations in mining operations.

Analyse data and prepare reports to support decision-making processes.

Monitor mining operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Mining Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in mining and geotechnical engineering, with at least 5 years in the field. Strong knowledge of geological assessment, mining processes, and geotechnical principles. Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, GeoStudio, or similar tools. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. A proactive approach to safety and risk management in mining operations.
