We are seeking a Millwright / Electrician for a permanent vacancy based in Witbank, Mpumalanga. Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Grade 12 plus Qualified Millwright / Electrician with completed apprenticeship (Section 13 or Section 26D certificate)5+ years' experience in maintenance of large electrical & mechanical installationsMust have strong electrical background5+ years' experience in SCADA and PLC control systems as well as field control instrumentation advantageousInstrumentation & controls aptitude and awarenessBasic understanding of OHS act and knowledge in VSD applicationsKnowledge of medium voltage switchgear operating and maintenance principles22KV overhead powerline inspections and maintenanceMust be medically fit, have drivers license and own vehicle with willingness to travelWilling to work standby duties after hours and on weekendsThe successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Ensure application and adherence to maintenance information systems and ensure all assets are marked and controlledAttend to breakdowns and prioritize jobs promptlyRoutine services, repairs and preventative maintenance of electro-mechanical equipmentApply sound HR principles to meet objectivesEnsure safety & housekeeping as set out in OHS Act and comply with ISO systems, as well as continual improvement of systemsEnsure stock levels are maintainedAssist with sourcing, quality control of equipment as well as pricing, tendering and implementation on installationsSalary: Negotiable To apply, email detailed CV and supporting documentation to ******.
