Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Grade 12 plus Qualified Millwright / Electrician with completed apprenticeship (Section 13 or Section 26D certificate) 5 years experience in maintenance of large electrical & mechanical installations Must have strong electrical background 5 years experience in SCADA and PLC control systems as well as field control instrumentation advantageous Instrumentation & controls aptitude and awareness Basic understanding of OHS act and knowledge in VSD applications Knowledge of medium voltage switchgear operating and maintenance principles 22KV overhead powerline inspections and maintenance Must be medically fit, have drivers license and own vehicle with wiliness to travel Willing to work standby duties after hours and on weekends The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Ensure application and adherence to maintenance information systems and ensure all assets are marked and controlled Attend to breakdowns and prioritize jobs promptly Routine services, repairs and preventative maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment Apply sound HR principles to meet objectives Ensure safety & housekeeping as set out in OHS Act and comply with ISO systems, as well as continual improvement of systems Ensure stock levels are maintained Assist with sourcing, quality control of equipment as well as pricing, tendering and implementation on installations Salary: Negotiable To apply email detailed CV and supporting documentation through to
