IntroductionOur client in the Manufacturing Industry requires the services of Millwrights who will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance to join their team.Duties & ResponsibilitiesKey performance areas:Day-to-day plant and preventative maintenance on electrical, instrumentation, and maintenance equipment and machinery.Ensure safe working conditions in the plant in accordance with Health and Safety procedures.Assist with engineering breakdowns.Improve overall maintenance on plant equipment to ensure optimum availability.Involved in the smooth running and optimization of the plant.Desired Experience & QualificationThe successful candidate must have:MatricMust be a Qualified Millwright with a red sealAt least 3-5 years relevant experience in an engineering and/or manufacturing environmentInstrumentation knowledge and experience a strong requirement.Must be extremely analytical with excellent fault-finding skills.Must be able to read and interpret technical, electrical, and hydraulic drawings.Must have a positive, energetic attitudeMust possess good problem-solving and communication skillsMust be self-motivatedMust be able to work in a team as well as individuallyMust have a good work ethic and sober habitsMust be willing to work rotating shiftsExcellent written and verbal communication skills (English & Afrikaans)Must have a valid driver's licensePlease note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.If you do send an email to the recruiter directly, please state the position you are applying for.Package & RemunerationTo be discussed during the interview stage.
