As a Millwright, you will be vital in ensuring the seamless operation of machinery and equipment that is essential to food production.
Your expertise will directly contribute to maintaining quality standards and enhancing production efficiency.
Responsibilities Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on various food processing equipment and machinery.
Troubleshoot, inspect, and repair mechanical and electrical faults in machinery.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards across all maintenance activities.
Develop and implement maintenance plans to minimize downtime and increase productivity.
Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery.
Document all maintenance activities and repairs accurately.
Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve operational goals.
Requirements Trade qualification as a Millwright is essential.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Experience with PLCs and automation systems is an advantage.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
