Millwright Supervisor

MILLWRIGHT BellvilleReporting to the Operations Manager the primary purpose of this position will be the hands-on servicing installation and commissioning of boilers, i.e. Heavy and Light Fuel Oil, Gas, Coal and Electrically powered boilers. The successful candidate will be required to be a good communicator, willing to travel regularly (local and abroad) and willing to work long hours.QUALIFICATIONSTrade Certificate (Millwright/Electrical or Instrumentation/Electronics)An unendorsed drivers licenceDiploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering will be advantageousProject Management certificate will be advantageousCertified gas practitioners license will be advantageousWiremans license will be advantageous EXPERIENCE A minimum of five years Electrical or Mechanical experience in an after-sales-service environment also covering the following fields: Mechanical Fitting, Electrical, PLC Controls, Maintenance, Fault Finding and InstrumentationStrong ability to manage staffVSD installation, commissioning and Fault findingDrawing up and understanding wiring and technical diagramsBoiler servicing and commissioning will be advantageousComputer literacy-MS Office, emails and internet KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Stand-by duties covering mechanical and electrical servicesPlanned and break down maintence (electrical and mechanicalStand by and call out dutiesInstallation and commissioning of new and second-hand boilers, burners and auxiliary equipmentSupervise and manage all site work with your team being hands on in the field and officeCommunication with the client and your senior suggesting repairs and possible site improvementsMake sure data packs are updated and loaded onto the systemMake sure all site work is done safely and as per company procedure (make sure all paperwork is in order before work commences)Follow up on orders and have site orders signed off for invoicing purpose.OSH operations and importantly the paperwork relating thereto ?
